As a reply to Kaome's previous journal, I want to thank her for that. It's really very amazing how many wonderful friends she has, that take the time out of their own just to stop by and say hello and wish me a good time here.
Seeing this has honestly convinced me that DeviantArt is really a wonderful community that I am very willing to participate in. However, I'm still unsure of how I'm going to accomplish this with no drawing skills... I'm not much of a writer, either, but I suppose all I can do is try.

In any event, there was another reason why I'm writing this. A few of the people here that I know do not know the entire story -- or anyhting of it at all of what has become of me. Please, listen carefully, because it is painful for me to repeat it if I must.
My mother, Caroline, has passed away recently. October 15, 2am, and at the age of 47 with a stroke, I believe. The doctors would not give me all the details, and now I find myself utterly alone. My father passed away when I was only 8 in a car accident the night he moved after my mother and he were divorced -- or at least decided on it.
My grandmother is willing to take me in, if just for a while and as for now, I'm staying with a friend of mine. However, once she is gone, I'm afraid I might be sent to an oprphanage since my Grandfather passed away only a year after I was born.
I hope that I will be able to get ahold of someone further to prevent this from happening... seeing as my Grandmother is at the ripe age of 87, I believe. My family is a bit know for short... life spans. It is a scary time... but I'm sure I can pull through.
And Kaome? Please excuse me for that early phone call Thursday morning.

I trust that everyone is well? I may not have many 'watchers' but it still is nice to know how everyone is fairing from time to time.
